App Army Assemble Railbound – “Should we go full steam ahead avec this adorable puzzler?”

Railbound is the latest puzzler by the creator of inbento, Golf Peaks, and other puzzles. You will be responsible for connecting trains by flicking switches along the tracks. It has a cutesy, warm aesthetic that emits warmth and coziness. However, I am not a fan of the way it looks. We decided to give the game to the App Army to see if they were enjoyable.

Here’s their take:

Sangeet Shukla

This puzzle game features 8 different worlds with their own unique settings, but the goal to connect and separate trains between them is the same. As you progress, the puzzles become more difficult by adding railway coaches, switches and their modifications. Graphics are simple, but they are beautiful. A soothing BGM enhances the experience. The controls are easy to use and include options for reset/undo, add/delete, and add/remove. Unfortunately, the Android version doesn’t have a hint. It’s a great game overall, and a great way to pass the time.

Railbound is a puzzle game that connects carts to a train engine. The limitation is the limited number track pieces. As you complete levels, new obstacles will be introduced such as underground tunnels. The levels are very short, but it took me a lot of trial and error to complete them. The presentation is sleek albeit there isn’t much going on. I was bored by the music quite quickly. Railbound didn’t hook me, and the “one more puzzle”-urge never set in. I consider myself a mid-tier puzzler.

Railbound is an isometric puzzle where you have to lay the track on a grid in order to guide your railway carriages to connect to a locomotive. Once you’ve set up your routes you hit a button to see if your plan will work. It’s a puzzle game, so things aren’t always as simple. There are limits to the number of tiles you can place on each track. The amount changes with every level.

Your carriages should be connected in the right order (1,2,3). You must not have them collide or get stuck. As you progress through the game, more stuff will be available with additional carriages and gates controlled via pressure pads. Great graphics, great music, and a game you can get lost in. It gets a thumbs up from my friend. The hint system is also available for those who get frustrated.

This puzzle game asks you to place tracks of trains on a board in order to connect different cars (in a particular order) to their engines. The graphics are great and the music adds a relaxing atmosphere to the game. The difficulty of the levels increases gradually, from easy to very difficult. Overall, I found this game to be in the same style as other titles by the same developers. There are many levels to choose from, but $4.99 may be a bit steep. It is a great choice for puzzle game fans, as well as casual gamers.

I found the graphics and puzzles very appealing. However, the game was not easy to master. I’m not the best at them but I’m enjoying this title. It’s very fun. There should be more clues, though. It’s great for puzzle fans and those who enjoy chill gameplay.

This puzzler is very pleasant to look at. It involves adding and manipulating tracks to attach train cars to the engine. It starts with one car and then you can move on to more complex ones. There are many cars to choose from, and each one has its own unique mechanics. The puzzles are initially simple, but gradually become more difficult.

I found help online only once or twice because there was no hint function. I wouldn’t have minded that. The graphics are appealing and vibrant, and the music is also very good. The controls work well and are simple. It’s a nice, unique (to my experience) puzzler. I would recommend it to any fan of the genre.
