T3 Arena review: Play Overwatch-like on your mobile

T3 Arena What is a 3v3? Arena shooter quite similar to Overwatch. The game features fast-paced action and a variety of heroes, as well as game modes and many other features. We will be reviewing T3 Arena and sharing our initial impressions of it in this article.

T3 Arena feels very polished and good. While it has a casual look, the gameplay can be intense. If you’ve played Overwatch, then you probably will be able to notice quite a few similarities in terms of the visual art style but T3 Arena goes for a third-person perspective instead of a first-person perspective, unlike Overwatch.

Pick your character, and go toe-to–toe with your adversaries

Start with the ReviewT3 arena is fast-paced, 3v3 action. Players can unlock and select heroes (each hero is equipped with a signature weapon, and has different abilities), and then they can enter game modes like Team Deathmatch, Crystal Assault and Control, Free For All All of it. There’s not much to complain about when it comes to the gameplay.

Everything runs smoothly, and even though some heroes may be better than others or OP, skill is important in this game. Some heroes deliver the hits well while others absorb damage and don’t deal the most damage. However, some heroes were not as proficient with their weapons or skills as they should have been. You can even test the heroes in a practice range before unlocking them.

If you are looking to try out a new hero, it is a good idea to change your hero before you enter matchmaking. The game unfortunately doesn’t have a menu before the match starts to choose a character and players have to manually do it beforehand. You can play with your friends, or against them in private rooms.

Engage in fast-paced combat on multiple maps and game modes

Now the game goes for an over-the-shoulder third-person perspective which probably isn’t as good as a first-person perspective, which would fit the game modes and smaller maps better but it’s not too bad to play around with.  Although there were 14 heroes, the progression was quite quick to unlock new heroes. However, unlocking more game modes was slower.

One problem is that the aim assist/auto fire are extremely accurate and instantaneous. It gives them an unfair advantage. Aside from that, there weren’t many other issues. The game ran smoothly even on higher settings for a mid-range device. There weren’t any major game-breaking bugs or glitches during our playthrough.

The game has vibrant graphics and decent controls

It has a cool, Overwatch-themed art style. The visuals are bright and vibrant, and the sound effects seem pretty standard. The soundtrack is also very cool. The game looked a bit blurry at times and had low resolution at times. The controls are pretty decent and there weren’t any issues in using them. The UI fits well into the overall style of this game and is quite clean.

There are no ads, but IAPs exist, including the Premium Pass.

The game doesn’t have any ads but it does have in-app purchases. You can purchase in-game currency with real money. This can be used to upgrade your heroes and crates. The premium pass gives you access to a lot of stuff, including cosmetics and crates. This pass isn’t exclusively for those paying and has a lot of free stuff as well.

Final Verdict

The game is overall a good title with plenty of content. The gameplay is fun and addictive, it looks nice visually, and there are few things to complain about. The aim assist and auto-shoot issues, along with some characters being a bit slow, are all things to be fixed. A first-person perspective would also be appreciated. The game was a great experience.

Another issue that really isn’t the game’s fault was the lack of real players. While the bots aren’t too bad at the game, more real players could make the game more challenging in a fun way. This could be due to the fact that the game has no real players. TapTap is the only way to get early access For Android.  If you’ve been looking for a game similar to Overwatch, this one is worth a try. It’s a fun and serious shooter with a casual feel.
